Boomers add to West Coast's woes

Bulleen consolidated second spot on the WNBL ladder with an easy 81-56 over strugglers West Coast at The Veneto Club.

Rachel Jarry led all scorers with 24 points while Liz Cambage and Alice Kunek added 18 and 15 points respectively.

In Logan, the Thunder took down AIS 83-60 with Natalie Taylor topping the box scores with 19 points for the hosts.

She was matches by Sara Blicavs but it was not enough for the students to claim a third win for the season.

In Bendigo, the Flames notched a tight 72-70 triumph over the Spirit.

Belinda Snell was Sydney's go-to player with 24 points while Tess Madgen's 18 points kept the hosts in the game.
