Sydney picked up its second win of the round, coming from behind in the final quarter to notch a 95-89 home win over Wollongong.
Rookie Anatoly Bose finished with 24 points, including two clutch three-pointers in the fourth period, to help the Kings reverse a 10-point deficit.
Big plays from Luke Cooper and Ben Madgen in the final quarter and a haul of 20 points from Julian Khazzouh and 14 from Aaron Bruce also assisted Sydney over the line.
The Hawks almost pulled off the victory after surrendering the lead in the fourth, with Joevan Catron (23 points) and Tyson Demos (20) starring but falling short at the death.
The Kings are now 2-2 for the season with Wollongong 3-1.
