Sydney Uni proved it will a team to be reckoned with this WNBL season after taking down the Lightning 70-65 at Adelaide Arena.

New recruit Jess Foley shone for the Fire with 17 points, while import Shanavia Dowdell continued to impress with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
