The Logan Thunder beat the West Coast Waves 86-65 in Perth to record their sixth win of the season on Friday night.
Cayla Francis (18 points) and Renae Camino (18) shared top contributions for Logan, in a result that puts the Thunder one spot below fifth-placed Dandenong in the finals places, with two games in hand.
A massive 30 points to WA's Rohanee Cox was not enough to prevent Logan cruising to its 21-point win, with only Melissa Marsh (13 points) offering any real assistance.
The loss is West Coast's 11th from 12 games, leaving the Waves rock bottom of the WNBL ladder.
